Northamptonshire Parent Carer Voices (NPCV) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that hosts both a Parent Carer Forum and a SEND Support & Advocacy Hub. We support families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across Northamptonshire.
Our team is led by parent carers themselves, working in partnership with families, services, and local organisations to improve outcomes and experiences for children, young people, and their families.
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that we are stronger together. By listening to parent carers and working collaboratively, we aim to influence meaningful and lasting change across education, health, and social care.
We are committed to supporting families through connection, consultation, and collaboration creating safe spaces to be heard, share experiences, and shape the services our children and young people rely on.
Together, we are empowering change: raising awareness, challenging inequality, and ensuring that lived experience drives improvement.

Newly founded in 2023, Northamptonshire Parent Carer Voices (NPCV) is led entirely by parent carers or close family members of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). In 2025, We launched an independent SEND Advocacy Service, staffed by professionals trained in SEND law, to provide expert support and guidance to families navigating complex systems.

At Northamptonshire Parent Carer Voices, our vision is to create a community where support for parent/carers and their voices are valued, heard, and acted upon. We are committed to working in genuine partnership with services to improve the lives of children and young people with SEND. Through connection, collaboration, and challenge, we strive to influence positive change — ensuring that families across Northamptonshire feel supported, empowered, and stronger together

Our aims are rooted in being constructive, open, and driven by integrity, ensuring that everything we do is built on trust and honesty. We are a community-focused forum, committed to working empathetically and supportively with families, partners, and professionals. By listening with care and speaking with purpose, we aim to create meaningful dialogue that leads to positive, lasting change for children and young people with SEND and their families across Northamptonshire.
