Every donation helps us continue supporting parent carers and families of children and young people with SEND across Northamptonshire.

Your support helps us provide advice, guidance, peer support, activities, and opportunities for families to connect, feel heard, and access the help they need.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are able to develop and grow our SEND Support Service for families across Northamptonshire.

This funding is enabling us to provide advice, guidance, emotional support, and safe spaces for parent carers of children and young people with SEND. Through our support service, families can access free advocacy support and help to navigate the challenges they may face.

Whether through one-to-one support, events, workshops, or activities, this funding continues to make a positive difference to the lives of local families every day.

We are incredibly grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund and National Lottery players for making this work possible and helping us continue supporting families across Northamptonshire. 

For three years, we have funding from Postcode Community Trust to help us provide vital support for families of children and young people with SEND across Northamptonshire.

Thanks to this funding, we are able to create safe, welcoming spaces where parent carers can access advice, guidance, peer support, activities, and opportunities to connect with others who understand their journey.

Helping us to strengthen our community, reduce isolation for families, and ensure that more parents and carers can access the information and support they need.

Funding from the Department for Education helps our Parent Carer Forum ensure that the voices of parent carers are heard and represented across North Northamptonshire. This funding enables us to work alongside local services, professionals, and families to help improve support and outcomes for children and young people with SEND.

Contact a family plays an important role in supporting Parent Carer Forums nationally, providing guidance, training, and resources to help forums grow, develop, and strengthen parent participation. Their support helps us continue building meaningful relationships with families and professionals while ensuring parent carers remain at the heart of decision-making.
